Ram May-Ron

Managing Partner

Mr. Ram May-Ron is the Managing Partner of FreeMind and the driving force behind the firm’s growth and evolution since 2003. Under his leadership, FreeMind has scaled into a global leader in non-dilutive funding strategy, supporting hundreds of life science companies in securing significant funding to advance their R&D programs.

Ram is responsible for setting and executing the firm’s overall strategy, overseeing all core business functions, and leading the organization’s continued expansion. He has built and scaled FreeMind’s commercial, professional, and operational capabilities, transforming the company into a highly specialized, execution-driven platform serving clients worldwide.

A central pillar of Ram’s leadership is his ability to integrate strategy, business development, and delivery into a cohesive growth engine. He has played a direct role in shaping FreeMind’s positioning in the market, refining its value proposition, and establishing long-term relationships with leading biotech, pharma, and emerging life science companies.

In addition to his role at FreeMind, Ram is the founder of the FreeMind Investment Platform, an initiative designed to leverage the firm’s unique access, insights, and network to support high-potential life science companies. Through this platform, he has expanded FreeMind’s activities beyond consulting into strategic investment and ecosystem development.

Prior to FreeMind, Ram founded and led a strategic consulting firm and served as a senior strategy advisor to international organizations and elected officials. His background spans both the business and political sectors, with deep expertise in strategic analysis, decision-making processes, and complex stakeholder environments.

Ram serves on the board of directors of several companies and is actively involved in strategic advisory roles across the life sciences ecosystem.
