Dr. Jinan Elayyan is a distinguished PhD scientist, with a rich background in the myriad roles of sirtuins in cartilage biology, during aging, and skeletal development.

She earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her work included using sophisticated genetic models and cells which is demonstrated in her strong record of pre-clinical publications including PNAS. Her dedication to research excellence was recognized early in her career when she received the Excellence of Research award among her faculty upon graduation.
